There is a slight difference between "I DO NOT WANT" and "I CAN NOT".
If you see a shoe in a mall, you want it but if you buy it you will be broke. Broke as if you will need to eat instant noodle for like more than a month.
What will you call it? You do not want the shoe OR You can not buy the shoe.
You have money to buy the shoe but you need to fulfill your daily necessities. It is not like you don't have the money, you have it but you will need to choose whether you going to spend it in the shoe.
The shoe is the best shoe you have ever met. Comfortable and fit perfectly. It comes in your size and only one pair left. You believe that the shoe is the most perfect shoe and it is hard to find a perfect shoe.
What is it then?
From your perspective you call it > I CAN NOT buy the shoe.
But the shoe perspective > You DO NOT WANT buy the shoe.
The shoe does not have to understand it. No matter how hard you try to explain "why" the shoe paradigm is still you do not want the shoe. The shoe thinks that if you really like something you must buy it.
The shoe paradim could make you mad or sad or whatever.
Actually you do not have to get mad or sad just because you can not find a right explanation for the shoe.
The shoe has a right to think that you do not want it because you have the money but do not want to buy it. The shoe does not have to know what kind of sacrifices you need to take just to buy the shoe. Because the shoe does not want to hear "I really like you but I can not have you". Words that the shoe really wants to hear is "Sorry, I can not have you". That is enough.
Even though it is hard for you to say it but it is the best line that you can say to the best shoe you have ever met.
What you can do now are say the line, release the shoe and continue your life.
It is never been easy.
But in relation to your life, you CAN DO it.
